Now what's going on? Guys, welcome to a special edition episode of Pod flicks and chill. I am your host, Andrew, and I call this a special edition episode because Disney just released their investor day two thousand and twenty panel, where they dropped so many announcements, between Marvel and Star Wars and Pixar and Disney animation, theatrical releases, New Disney plus series and straight to streaming movies, literally so much content it's almost impossible to try to sort through all of it, but I am going to do my best. That said, remember that the point of this podcast is to bring you guys info about specifically streaming original content. So this is going to focus on Disney plus has new content coming not just next year but over the course of the next few years, because there's a lot of it. So make sure you hit that subscribe button. I'm going to try to do these series as they come out, but you know, we'll see how that goes. If I missed anything, guys, though, make sure you leave a comment. Make sure to hit me up in the messages as always. You can follow us on Instagram, twitter and facebook at pod flakes, the letter N and chill. That's Pod flicks and chill so let's dive right in. They kind of kicked off the Disney the plus stuff with Star Wars. So Kathleen Kennedy came out and talked all things star wars. Now, aside from her being very blah and sort of a bad presenter in my opinion. Anyway, don't come at me and Kathleen Kennedy Fans, there was a lot of Star Wars Info, starting with the Mandalorian. Season three is going to be dropping Christmas two thousand and twenty one. So Dave Filoney and Jonathan favreau are coming back. They're developing a season three of the Mandalorian, which is awesome because there's only one episode left and I'm like dying already, like I need more information. Episode seven just came out today. If you guys haven't seen it yet, wow, it was incredible. It was probably one of the my favorite episodes this season. But the two new projects that are spinoff series of the Mandalorian were Rangers of the New Republic and Ahsoka. We're getting a live action Ahsoka series now. I don't think any casting announcements were made during this presentation, but we can almost guarantee that we're going to see Rosario Dawson return from Ahsoka and Rangers of the New Republic is most likely going to have call a Dune in there, which is Mandez. You know lackey will not lackey more of a sidekick in Gina Courno. So those are both going to be set in the MANDALORIAN timeline and, according to the presentation or sort of going to culminate into a climactic story event. So I'm thinking it's going to be similar to how Marvel's Netflix series sort of culminated into a defenders crossover event that was like eight episodes long. Hopefully this one's a little bit better than the defenders series, but both Jon favreaux and Dave Filoni are helming those projects as well, so they're going to be very interconnected and they are going to be incredible and I cannot wait for those. In Two thousand and twenty two they got they announced rather the and or series, which is going to be a spinoff series focusing on cassie and and or from rogue one. They announced a ton of cast members for that series, including Fiona Shawl and Stelen's scars guard who was also in the thor, the first two thor movies you may remember, and the first avengers film, I believe. So they're they got a huge cast lineup. They're going to have man mathma show up for that series as well. Now, they didn't mention Alan Tutik in the casting call when they were talking about...

...this show, but they have mentioned. I have seen a lot of articles about Alan Tut it coming back to voice kt s o, the droid from rogue one, and obviously this is going to be a prequel series setting up the character of cassie and and or and how he gets to where he was in the rogue one movie. Now, what I did like was the this series is going to be a sort of a spy thriller and they're bringing on one of the filmmakers and creators from the born identity saga, which are some of my favorite films. They're very, very action packed. The I just love the feel of them, the just the camera work, the the way the world looks and feels. With Jason Bourne, I imagine it's going to be very similar to what they set up with the and or series on Disney plus. So that's going to be dropping some time in two thousand and twenty two. Then we got some updated news on the OBI Wan Kenobi series, which is going to be called Obi Wan Kenoby. It takes place ten years after revenge of the sith and it features the return of hate and Christensen as Darth vader. So I know the Internet has been blowing up about this over the last twenty four hours, or less than that I should say, but this is going to be epic. So Hayden Christiens isn't going to put on the Darth vader suit and Kathleen Kennedy called it the rematch of the century. So I don't know if we're going to see a duel between Euen and Hayden Christensen. I don't know if we're going to get any sort of flashback scenes with Hayden Christensen and OBI Wan Kenoby, as you know, apprentice and master. I don't know what we're going to see. Now she did mention it's an event series, so I don't think it's going to be ongoing. I think it's going to be like a limited probably seven or eight episodes, and it's just going to be one season, one and done and that's it. Right from the CANOBI series, they launched into the bad batch announcement, which had previously been a NAT announced. But if you followed the animated clone wars series, they they introduced this clone, clone force ninety nine in the seventh season of the clone wars and they called themselves the bad batch and it's an elite force of special commandos, of clones that are all kind of Wonky. They all look a little bit different, so like the genetic process didn't really take with them, and they're all specialized in different sort of skills. It's going to be that same sort of animation style of the clone wars. We gotta look at a trailer, which looks really cool. We see Tarkin come back, we see all the clones watching the announcement from emperor palpatine from revenge of the sith where he says that the Galactic Sen it's going to turn into the first Galactic Empire, and I thought that was really cool because again in the season seven of the animated series clone wars, it's sort of set in conjunction with the events of revenge of the sith. So this is a similar sort of feel that we're going to be getting with this series as well, I'm really excited for it. I liked the bad batch arc in clone wars, so I'm excited to see what they do with it. I'm assumed de Bradley Baker's going to be coming back for the Voice of the clone troopers, but again no casting announcements were made during this panel. We got a couple of other projects coming Star Wars. There's star wars visions, which is going to be an anthology series, ten separate stories drawn in Japanese anime style. So they're getting some of the biggest and Best Japanese animation studios in the world and doing brand new star wars stories with different characters across the galaxy. So that was really cool. They announced as a Lando event series, so again it's probably going to be another one off, like eight episode series. They didn't make any casting announcements. I can assume that Donald Glover is probably going...

...to be coming back for it. But we also got Justin Simmons, who is the Creator and writer for Dear White people on Netflix, so they're getting in some pretty good talent. I mean it's star wars in Lucasfilm, so obviously they're going to be pulling in that talent, but excited for that series. They also mentioned the ACCA Lyte, which is going to be a mystery thriller set in the High Republic era. So before the PREQUELS, we're going to see sort of the rise of the dark side and really kind of focus on the dark side of the force, which is neat. I like that because we sort of set them up as like the bad guys in the villains right throughout the skywalker saga, but maybe we'll get to see them a little bit of a different light for this accolyte series. We're also going to be getting a new story called a droid story, which is going to introduce a brand new droid, UN named at the moment, but he's going to be on a special mission with our D to and seethree Po. Again, no casting announcements, but I really hope Anthony Daniels comes back for see three Poh. It's funny. They give you so much information during these panels, but they almost give you no information. I mean, I get that a lot of these projects are in sort of preproduction or development still, but come on, give us like a little bit. They're also going to be doing a willow series on Disney plus. It's another George Lucas Story. That was Ron Howard directed film back in the day. I'm going to be honest, I'd never heard of the film, never seen the film, but Warwick Davis is going to be returning to the series. I assume he was in the original movie. That's going to be coming to Disney plus in two thousand and twenty two. And that was sort of the star wars portion of the presentation. So you can imagine, if all of that is coming over the next few years for just Star Wars, what we've got in other areas of Disney plus. So right from star wars they jumped into the National Geographic portion of the presentation with the President of Nat Geo, Courtney Monroe, and I know that Geo's probably not big for a lot of you guys who are listening to the podcast, but they have some pretty cool projects coming that I'm excited about. But again I'm just listing all of the all of the streaming Disney plus projects that are going to be coming to the service over the next couple of years. One of the first ones they announced was a Jacques Cousteau documentary film that's going to feature a lot of never before seeing archival footage about the popular marine biologist. Starting with season four of their show genius. The genius is going to be exclusive to Disney plus. Now, previous seasons of the show had featured like Albert Einstein, Picasso and I forget who was on the third season of the show, but they had some a list talent. And then season four is going to feature Martin Luther King Jr. Again, no casting announcement right, but all four seasons of that show are going to be exclusive to Disney plus once season four premiers. They also introduced a new limited run series. It's going to be a four part series called secrets of the whales. Now this one I thought was cool because it reunites executive producer Jane James Cameron with Sigourney Weaver. So James Cameron executive produced the series, sigourney weaver is going to narrate it, and they filmed whales for three years and they learned a bunch of new secrets about whales and you know how they live and thrive and feel and love and all that sort of the trailer looked really cool, so I'm probably going to check that show out. They also announced a series called a real bugs life, which features some miniaturized film technology where they're going to be looking at the world of bugs throughout the world. So that's cool.

Another wildlife series called America the beautiful. Now what I thought was cool about this is they said that they obtained a very exclusive, never before done, film permit where they attached an k camera to a fighter jet who who flew close to the speed of sound overtop a bunch of the closed national parks during the pandemic shutdown, and they actually showed some of that footage of the fighter jets flying across these national parks and it looked incredible. So that was cool. Again, I'll probably check that series out when it drops. They also announced two six part series featuring both Chris Hemsworth and will Smith. So the Chris Hemsworth series is called limitless and it's very similar to this series that was on Netflix, I believe, and the feature film that starred Matthew mcconaughey. Chris Hemsworth is going to be looking at how to hack the human body and how to prevent aging and all this other sort of stuff. So he has like six different experiments that he's going to put his body through the trailer looked fun. Chris Hemsworth, you know he's kind of funny comical guy, but he's looking into how to hack the human body. So I'll probably check that series out as well. Same with the Will Smith series called welcome to Earth. Now, I'm assuming because they wanted to make it a family show they didn't include the bitch, but that reference is a line or I'm sorry, that title is a reference to his line in Independence Day where he knocks the alien out and he's like welcome to Earth, bitch. But anyway, that series sees will Smith, you know, doing some deep sea diving. He goes into the lip of an active volcano, he repels down the glacier, he does all this cool stuff. It looks like a pretty neat series. Both of those are six part series with no release date given, I don't think, but I imagine they're either going to be sometime next year, since they had a lot of the footage, but they might be early two thousand and twenty two. Who knows? Right from the NEAT GEO portion of the presentation, guys, this was like a threehour presentation. They went into Disney TV. I I am so super pumped for the Disney TV streaming stuff that is coming to Disney plus, starting with the biggest one that I don't I haven't seen anybody talking about on social media today. And you call yourselves fans of the mighty ducks movies, yet none of you in my friends list or that I could see talked about the mighty ducks game chain's series that's coming next year with the return of Emelio Estez is Gordon Bombay. Like, what are you guys doing? I am so super pumped for this. The trailer looked absolutely great. Basically, it takes place in two thousand and twenty one with these kids who are trying out for, you know, the now renowned mighty ducks team, who looks like they're being coached by gunner from d too that Julie, the cat stopped at the end of the shootout. It looks like he's the coach of the mighty ducks now, but he was basically like, you know, some of these kids are bad at hockey and they're like well, Hey, like maybe you shouldn't be playing hockey. So the one kids mom, who's played by Lauren Graham, who you know, really grew into her fame with Gilmore girls and bad Santa. She comes and she convinces Gordon Bombay to help coach her little Ragtag peewee team and get them good at hockey. So it's like it's another underdog story. But I don't know if, like the mighty ducks are going to be painted as the villains in this one. I don't know. They kind of remind me of like the Hawks from from the first movie, so I don't know. I'm really interested to...

...see it. But like Gordon Bombay's back to being like the I don't care kind of type he's. We see him like riding a Sam Bone, a Zamboni and an ice rink, like half in the dark. So I don't know what's up, but it looks like a good series. I'm excited that's going to be coming sometime next year. I pumped they're going to be doing a series style reboot of the s film Turner and Hooch, which start Tom Hanks, but Josh Peck is going to be playing Turner. So if they showed footage, it wasn't available for the live stream, so I guess it was exclusive footage just for the present or just for the investors, but that series is probably going to be good. I'll probably watch it just because I like Josh Peck. If you guys are familiar with Jake Drake and Josh and Josh Packs insane transformation. He went from being like this this really overweight kids like actually looking really good. Um, so I'll probably watch that as well. They also announced a series starring John staymos called big shot, where he seems to be sort of like a shamed or disgruntled like College Basketball Coach, Allah Emilio Estevez and Gordon Bombay, only instead of like a lawyer, he's just like a college basketball coach that gets shamed, gets fired or whatever, and now he's coaching a group of high school girls at like this private school. So that's going to be a series. It looks interesting. I probably won't check it out, to be completely honest, but John staymos is there, so that's cool. They also announced a bunch of series, one of which being beauty and the beast. It's going to be a prequel series starring Luke Evans and I think Josh Gad's coming back. It is going to feature brand new music from Alan Mankin, sort of set before beauty and the beast. They're going to do a Swiss family Robinson series and a Percy Jackson in the Olympians series, so that's cool. And they're also adapting a young adult book series called the Mysterious Benedict Society. I've never heard of it, but it does look like a fun sort of family series. It's like these kids that go to school and they get recruited by this guy who wants to send them on a like a mission. But you you just pass the kids off as like outcasts on the street, but like this is where they become like the heroes of their story. So that looks pretty cool, you know. Like I said, it looks like a fun family series that the whole family can get into. Now, before I dive in, I'm looking at my notes here and I'm at the beginning of the the panel. They talked a little bit about figures, right, and one thing. In my original Disney plus episode, I think, where we talked about the Mandalorian I had said that the initial five year projection for Disney plus was sixty to ninety million subscribers. As of December. Second they announced eighty six point eight million subscribers to their platform. Guys, remember this. This platform launched last November. So in thirteen months they are well within the realm of exceeding their five year target, which is absolutely crazy. They also announced figures for Hulu, which has about thirty thirty eight point eight million subscribers as of December two, and ESPN plus, their other property, has eleven point five million subscribers as of December second. They're well over thirty countries, with more being added over the course of the next year. So, guys, I mean Disney's one of the biggest media companies out there, so you know it's going to be. It's going to be a wild ride. But back to the back to all the announcements that they had. So right from the Disney TV panel with Dana Walden...

...at Disney TV, they went into the motion picture portion of the panel. So Sean Bailey, WHO's at Disney most in pictures, came out and talked about a bunch of exclusive properties, not just from Disney but also from their acquisition of Twenty Century Fox. So he officially announced a hocus pocus to sequel coming directly to Disney plus at some point in the near future, as ill as a reboot adaptation of the Twenty Century Fox film three men and a baby, which I loved the film growing up. It had Steve Guttenberg, Ted Danson and, oh my gosh, the guy from Magnan Pi, the name Tom Selik. Tom Selick, there we got. I couldn't think of his name. It was those three guys, you know, taking care of this random baby. And the Disney plus reboot is going to drop sometime in two thousand and twenty two with Zac Efron starring. So ZAC EFRONZ coming back to the Disney fold for that one. They also announced three different sports stories coming direct to Disney plus. I know they said Dwayne the Rock Johnson's going to be working on one of the stories about a football coach, and then the other two are about NBA stars. Now, I don't follow the NBA and I don't follow a lot of sports honestly, so I forget who the athletes were that they're going to be showcasing. But you know, with the acquisition of ESPN plus and ESPN I, it's hard not to believe that they're putting out more sports content, because a lot of sports content is like feel good content. So those those stories will drop as well. They're also adapting a couple of other properties. In February of two thousand and twenty one they are going to be adapting, I believe, leave it's a book series called Flora and Ulysses about a girl and her Superhero Squirrel. They're going to be doing an animated diary of a whimpy kid series, which actually looked kind of cool animation style wise, and then they're going to be doing a reboot of the movie cheaper by the dozen. Now I wasn't quite sure if this was a film or a series, but it's going to feature a multiracial family with Gabriella Union starring, and that's going to be coming out sometime in two thousand and twenty two. They also talked about a spinoff film of the Ice Age films, called the adventures of Buck Wilde, I think, and that's going to feature some of the popular newer characters from the Ice Age franchise, Buck and crash and Eddie, with Simon pegg coming back to voice buck. Now I don't think I watched anything after Ice Age one. So to all my younger viewers, you guys will probably know more of what I'm talking about than what I know that I'm talking about. They also announced an animated sequel, I guess, to night at the museum. So they did announce. I guess the original Creator director is going to be coming back. They didn't, you know, say anything about Ben Stiller. Like I said, for as much as these panels actually announce, they don't really give you much and I think the one guy even said, you know, he didn't show a lot of footage because a lot of the properties are still in preproduction or development, so they didn't have a lot of footage. Now moving into their sort of film side, I guess those are all going to be series, because they talked they split it up between Disney motion picture series and then films. Films. We got a lot guys with a lot to cover in films and I'm just kind of giving giving you the quick rundown of all this stuff. If you want that. I'm sure there's more in depth articles out there with more in depth speculation, but I just kind of want to report what was reported to us so that you guys have the info. So right off the bat,...

Spring Two Thousand and twenty two, they are bringing a live animation hybrid style film to Disney plus with Chippin Dale Rescue Rangers. I loved this cartoon growing up and it is going to be featuring John Malaney and Andy Samberg in the titular rolls of chip and Dale, with Seth Rogan, I think they said, either guest starring or making cameo appearance. Not Quite sure, but that is going to be expected to drop in spring. Of Two thousand and twenty two. Two new films that they're or, I'm sorry, not new but sort of spinoff live action reboots. Pinocchio is coming to Disney plus, which is going to be directed by Robertson Meckis and starring Tom Hanks. So I tom hanks just can't get away from Disney, which is pretty crazy. Speaking of Tom Hanks coming back in another property for Pinocchio, I just want to put a little, you know, a side in there that the Pixar panel, which will touch base on momentarily, announced a light year film which is going to be based on the space ranger who inspired the toy buzz light. Your voice by Tim Allen, but the actual space ranger is going to be voiced by Chris Evans. That's going to be a theatrical release. It's probably going to be one of the only theatrical releases I talked about until we get to the marvel segmentum, but that looks cool. I'm excited for that one. But back to Disney. So we have a Live Action Pinocchio coming. We also have a Peter Pan and wendy film coming with Jude Law set to star as Captain Hook. I'm excited for that. I love Jude Law. I think he's great. I think he's fantastic. I'm looking forward to it. We also have a sequel to enchanted, which I actually liked. Guys, Amy Adams, Patrick Dempsey. You know, Amy Adams was the voice of an animated princess who winds up in, you know, Live Action Manhattan and falls in love with Patrick Dempsey and a Diana Menzel who is supposed to be Patrick Dempsey's like girlfriend, fiance whatever. She winds up going into the animated world, but it features one of my favorite Disney songs that they wrote for the show and it was that how do you know that you love her with the little reggae Tom Band going on in the background? I love that scene. It's Great Sumy, but they're coming up with a sequel to that movie called disenchanted, with Amy Adams coming back starring in that role. So that's going to becoming a Disney plus. They're also doing a sister act three. Whoopie Goldberg's coming back to star and produce. Tyler Perry's on board to produce. That's going to be a fun one. I'm kind of looking forward to that. Then they got into the animation studios portion of the panel. So Jennifer Lee from Disney animation studios came out to talk about their upcoming release of Ya and the last dragon. I saw the trailer a while back. It looks really good. It's about a girl who's on a quest to sort of like save her town, village, country, home, something, but she's like a warrior, like she's a Badass warrior who knows how to use a sword. It looks really cool. That's coming out march fifth as a Duel Theater and Disney plus premiere, so that's going to be cool. I they also mentioned that they produced it at home, so it wasn't like a big like studio production. A lot of the voice work and everything that they did it was right at home. I have a note here to that Aquafina is going to be in the in that movie right and the last Dragon, and AQUAFINA's name was coming up a lot throughout these various panels a bunch of times in Disney. I think she's going to be in a pixar movie.

I know she's going to be in a marvel movie and I think she was even in a couple of the live action theatrical releases that Disney was talking about. That again, we're not getting into. But yeah, so aquafina is going to be the new Disney Queen, I think, or one of them. In terms of Disney animation series, there's a lot, so we're going to just rattle them off here. We got a Bay Max series coming in early two thousand and twenty two. That's going to be a continuation of the film and it follows. Each episode's going to have a new patient for Bay Max to help take care of and that's going to be cool. It's going to be cool to see they also tease a new way for Bay Max to quickly get around the city to find patients. I'm going to be definitely watching and reviewing that series. They they announced a Zootopia plus series coming in spring of two thousand and twenty two. Now. I just watched Zootopia. Guys just watched it. It's a great flick. But this film, or I'm sorry, this series, is going to feature the little characters that we saw throughout the movie. So you know you got that flash the sloth from the DMV. He's going to be making and appearance and it's just going to focus on those little little minor characters that we saw throughout the film. So that looks like a fun series. I'm pumped for that. In Two thousand and twenty three we're going to have a Moana series and a Tiana series from Moana and princess and the frog respectively. They're both going to be musical comedy series Short Form Animation, and I think the Moana series might even feature some Lynn Manuel Miranda music. I know he's on board for a number of different projects for Disney in the coming coming years, so that's cool. And then we have a Disney plus Collab with an African studio called Kugali and the series is going to be called Ewaju, which I believe they said translates to the future. It's coming in two thousand and twenty two. It's set in Nigeria and it's going to feature a lot of like science fiction ee stuff to it. It looked like a cool series. They didn't have, they didn't talk about a lot of information for it, but it definitely looks cool and something that's going to be right up my alley. Think, I guess like animated at Black Panthers Style. Then they went into the Pixar panel. So I already mentioned the lightyear theatrical release that they're going to be doing, but we had pete doctor come on. He is the chief creative officer of Pixar and he talked about a ton of projects that are going to be coming out, the first being a soul. Obviously it was set for a theatrical release but due to the pandemic, this is going to drop on Disney plus on Christmas. It stars Jamie Fox as the main characters voice. They showed like a little bit of an extended look trailer. I love music. I'm a music freak. I am very just in all of the talent that it takes, the technical aspect of it, the science, all of that, and it's sort of kind of dives into that. The science and the art of music, but it also talks a lot about how, you know, we're here on this earth for a limited time. How are we going to spend the time that we're here? So the film kind of goes back and forth between like the real world and the soul world. It looks really good, it looks really cute. I'm probably going to watch it that weekend and I'm probably going to cry about it. So you know, what are you guys going to do? They also talked a little bit more about their spark shorts that they've been showing on Disney plus, which I got to be honest, I haven't watched, but I'm thinking I should after seeing everything that these guys are coming out with. So their newest spark short is going to come on Christmas as well. I think it was called burrow. So there's that. The first five episodes of their inside Pixar documentary series are available now and they said more...

...going to be coming out over the coming months. So with Isny plus, the way they normally do things, it's either like eight episode series or seasons and they drop like the first one or two and then drop everything else like once a week. But they said coming months so I'm wondering if it's just going to be an ongoing series. I don't know. They mentioned Pixar Popcorn, which is going to be a series of shorts with popular, already established Pixar characters from the movies. And then this part I'm really excited for, Doug Days. It is the newest series coming to Disney plus sometime in the fall of next year. And yes, it is the return of Doug, the beloved dog from the movie. Up, Doug and Carl have returned from Paradise Falls. They're living in suburbia and now doug is going to have to get used to a whole new life. So they talked about Doug and his newest enemies, puppies and fireworks and just suburban life in general, and they showed a short clip from an episode where Doug has to watch these puppies, absolutely adorable, absolutely hilarious dougs like, Oh boy, look at all the puppies, I sure love them, like chasing them around the yard and then they start like biting him and he's like Ow, this hurts, but it's cute and fun, but it hurts. It just looks like so much fun and I'm very excited for it. Ed Asner is coming back as the voice of Carl and the guy who voiced dug in the films is coming back to voice him for this series. They announced two cars series, which is going to be a lightning, queen and mater cross country road trip featuring new characters and old characters alike, coming in the fall of two thousand and twenty two now. They didn't confirm any voice actors, but come on, I got to hope that Larry the cable guy and Owen Wilson are coming back. They announced Owen Wilson as a new character for the low key series for marvel, so it just makes sense. He's already doing stuff for Disney plus. Why not bring them on board for the cars series as well? And then a brand new long form animation series, which sounds cool, called winner lose. It's from two of the toy story for animators and storytellers and it basically focuses on a coed softball team the week leading up to their softball game. Each episode is going to be around twenty minutes and it's going to be told from a different perspective of, you know, each of the different team members. The reason they gave for that is because these two, these two creators of winner lose, when they were going into meetings for toy story for each had different perspectives of how the meeting went. One thought it went well, one thought it went bad, and they were like, oh, that would be a cool idea first show, and that's what led to the creation of this series. So again it's going to be twenty minute series. This is the first time Pixar has ever done anything like this and it's going to be coming in the fall of two thousand and twenty three. So that picks our panel was pretty it was probably one of the shorter panels. Honestly, I think it was only like, you know, fifteen minutes, where everything else was, you know, well into the s so that was a short one, but again, lots of Info, lots of stuff that I'm excited for just coming to Disney plus. And then, drum roll please, they closed out the panel with everything marvel. Now we already know Marvel's plan on putting out so much stuff just in terms of movies next year alone and into the coming years, but they sort of dived a little bit deeper into everything Disney plus. So I'm going to try to summarize this as best as possible. We...

...have one division first up. That is the first Disney plus series coming to the streaming platform January fifteen, a mere month away. We got confirmed confirmation that it's going to be tied into doctor strange and the multiverse of madness, which is also going to tie in directly to spider man three, set to come out late next year. If and just as a as an a side, if you guys haven't, haven't been following the news for spider man three, we've got confirmation of Alfred Malane's doc AC from the original spider man trilogy with Toby McGuire. We have Jamie Fox's electro from the Andrew Garfield Spider man movies. We have all but confirmed toby McGuire and Andrew Garfield and Kirsten Doun's and Emma stone all returning as Peter Parker, spider man, Mary Jane Watson and Gwen Stacy respectively. And did we get confirmation of Charlie Cox's daredevil coming into spider man three what? So, guys, this is going to be a huge film. It was originally set to come out July. Two Thousand and twenty one announced, I'm being told and read somewhere that's pushed back to December. I can't wait. I need more spider man, but anyway, that's not coming to streaming. WANDAVISION. The trailer, the extended look trailer, looks fantastic. We see the return of Jimmy Woo's FBI agent from the ant man and wasp movie. He's back. We got Elizabeth Olsen, we got Paul bettany living in this weird dystopian reality that we're pretty sure Wanda has created for Her and vision which is very similar to what she did in the comics. We even see a tea's of her children, hers and envisions children, which she also created in the comics. This was after she left the avengers. So we're going to see how this all ties into doctor strange. I'm really excited for it. They also showed Tiana Paris as Monica Rambo and adult Monica Rambo, who was a character introduced in Captain Marvel. Tana Paris is also going to be coming back in Captain Marvel to when that hits theaters, as well as one of the new Disney plus stars of the new marvel series, Miss Marvel Iman Velani. She's at Pakistani American teenager who is granted superpowers and one of her idols is Captain Marvel. So not only is she going to be getting her own Disney plus series, she's also going to be co starring in Captain Marvel to with Tiana Paris, Monica Rambo and Brie Larsen's Captain Marvel. So super pumped for how all of that's going to tie in together. We also got a first look at Falcon and the winter soldier. Looks absolutely incredible. We see the return of Baron Zmo, played by Daniel Braul. That's going to be coming out in March and it's just going to be kind of really like the legacy of Captain America. We got a little bit of back and Forth Banter between Anthony Mackie and Sebastian stand it looked hilarious. Some of the action scenes look really cool. I think we got a call out to the one scene from the the first Avenger, the Captain America Movie, where Chris Evans just jumps out of the back of the plane without a Paris shoot and you know, winter soldier and Falcon are arguing and winter soldiers saying to Falcon you, Hey, we need a plan, and Falcon just turns around, smiles at him and then jumps out of a plant, jumps out of a plane and Sebastian stands winter soldiers just like okay, so no plan. So we got that kind of call out to the original Captain American movie, which was pretty cool. I liked that they did that. And then we get a first look at low key. I am pumped for this movie. They sort of set it up from that scene an end game...

...where low key steals the tesseract and disappears, and now we see that he looks like he's going to be recruited by some mysterious agency known as the TVA. We see him in an elevator talking to Owen Wilson. So that's why I said, you know, just bring him back his lightning queen as well. He's already doing you know Disney plus stuff, but it looks like Lowkey's going to get recruited for some sort of crime thriller series. What I liked was there's a there's a scene where Tom Hilson is walking into like this chamber and we see on the wall sort of like these large, like really large wooden masks and I thought that was really cool. I'm wondering if that's like an Easter Egg. If you guys remember the Jim Carrey movie, the mask, the mask that he puts on, is believed to belong to the trickster God low key. So we have a mask. So I'm wondering if like that's that's a little tie in reference to like Lokey's masks there. But either way, the trailer looks great. There's one point where Loki himself is in a plane and he seems to jump out and he says brother him doll, I hope you're ready, and then then then you see him taken off in the by frost. So maybe we'll see thor maybe we'll see him dull. I don't know. I hope so, but I think that's going to be coming out in May of next year. So they're hitting us right away like January, March, May, and then we're getting in the summer, I believe, the what if animated series, where we have a lot of original mcu actors coming back to reprise their roles as voices, and this was marvel comics, sort of like alternate timeline stories, like what if Peggy was the super soldier and not Steve Rogers? What if to Chala was picked up by what's his name, Yon Do and became star Lord and not Peter Quill. So we have all these what if stories that are going to be told in animation form. We have Zombie Captain America, which Looks Pretty Badass. So a whole bunch of stuff on the Marvel Front. We also have just confirmation that Hayley Steinfeld will be playing Kate Bishop in the Hawkeye series, which is going to land late two thousand and twenty one. Jeremy Renner set to reprise his Clint Bart and roll as Hawkeye. We got a casting announcement of Tatiana Milani as she hulk, or, I'm sorry, Tatiana Maslanie as she hulk, and we got the confirmation that both Tim Roth from the original two thousand and eight incredible hulk film and Mark Ruffalo, who plays the hulk now, will both be appearing in the series. And there was also a tease by Kevin figgy where he said that because she hulk is a like sort of superhero rights lawyer, that we might be seeing some other superhero characters from episode to episode. He said, you never know who's going to pop in, so I'm looking forward to that a lot. That's going to be a really good series. We got a moon night announcement with no real cast announcement or anything, but we dive a little bit more into the story of Moon night, which all of those stories were officially confirmed already. But then we get the announcement of brand new series that they haven't talked about yet at all. We have secret invasion coming to Disney plus. So we have Ben Mendelsohn reprising his role as the scroll loghos, we have Samuel l Jackson reprising his role as Nick Fury, and secret invasion. This was one of the biggest comic storylines from Marvel, probably next to civil war, and it's basically, you know, a sect of scrolls that have infiltrated pretty much every level of society.

So you know shield, their galactic force, sword, the avengers themselves, the X men, they've all been infiltrated by these scrolls. So this is probably going to be a pretty big series. They also announced an armor wars series with the return of Don Cheetle as Rhodes Aka war machine and it's going to be you know, what happens if Tony Stark's armor fell into the wrong hands? His worst fears have come true. So we're going to see that storyline play out. We're also going to see a storyline which I started reading in the comics I thought was cool. We're getting an ironheart story and if you guys aren't familiar with that, after Tony Stark dies, after iron man dies, we see dom I'm sorry, weary Williams, who's going to be portrayed by Dominique Thorne in the show. Weary Williams is like a child genius who basically reverse engineer's Tony Stark's armor into her own ironheart armor. And in the comics she gets her armor upgraded because her AI is kind of iffy and Wonky. Her armor and AI gets upgraded with a Tony Stark Ai. So Tony has sort of embedded his personality into an ai that sort of now helps reri with her missions as Ironheart. Now will we see the return of Robert Downey JR voicing his own artificial intelligence? I don't know, I hope so. I mean if he already led his voice talents to the what if series. WHO's to say that he hasn't lent his voice to the artificial intelligence of Tony Stark? I don't know. But the IRONHEART series is going to be dropping. That looks cool. And they also announced something I'm really excited for, a guardians of the Galaxy Live Action Holiday special. That's going to be dropping in the holiday season of two thousand and twenty two. So we have to wait like two full years for it, but it's going to be written and directed by James Gunn while they are filming guardians of the Galaxy Three, which is due out in theaters two thousand and twenty three. So that holiday special is going to be really cool. I wonder if it's going to be like teenage grout or like you know, made s grouts. I'm really excited to see dracks getting ready for the holidays. I could just see it all now, like it's just I guarantee you dracts at some point puts an ornament on grouts. If that doesn't happen or if he doesn't try to string up lights on groot, I'm walking like groups of tree. He has to be decorated, like somebody's got to try to put an ornament or lights or put a star on top of his head or something within that series. It just has to happen, but I'm excited for that. And then they closed sort of closed out with an I am grout animated short series featuring baby grout, who is absolutely adorable. But I'm wondering if it's going to be sort of a similar animation style to the rocket raccoon shorts that are already on Disney plus, because the the logo kind of looked similar. Actually I think that series is called like rocket and grout. I'm not sure, but I'm wondering if the animation style is going to be similar. But that's going to be featuring baby grout. And again they announced so much but they don't really announce anything. So that's that's like the most comprehensive list that I could tap into just for Disney plus. I didn't even watch the the Hulu portion of the of the series. I didn't even heard the the panel. I didn't watch the ESPN plus portion of the panel. This is all just Disney plus guys,...
